Bushrod Park: the neighborhood’s namesake. Bushrod Park features tennis courts, a baseball diamond, and a community garden. This little piece of land is pretty famous, too – baseball players such as Rickey Henderson, Frank Robinson, Billy Martin and Vada Pinson all played at this community park in their youth, and the Oakland Raiders used it as a practice field in the 1960s.
